The water resistant probe is made with stainless steel and heat resistant ceramic， ensuring durability and reliability. It is able to measure an internal food temperature up to 212 F and a maximum ambient temperature of 527 F， great for any range of foods or cooking methods. It is rechargeable and can provide up to 24 hours of use on a single charge. The LED battery indicator on the charger lets you know the status of the charging process. With its efficient charging block， the probe can be charged up to 100 times with a single AAA battery. The wooden charger/storage box features magnetic backing， allowing you to stick it to your grill so it is always within reach. It also functions as the aforementioned Bluetooth repeater， which， when within range of the MEATER+ probe， extends the signal up to 5 times farther than the original MEATER.
